Thousands Dk requires 1 skein (newborn) or 2 skeins (3-24 mo) of 8-ply for the main colour.  For the contrast colour, the pattern requires 0.3 skein (all sizes).  It uses 3.5mm x 100cm and 4mm x 100 cm circular needles.
